Change is good…right?
Here we are at the last regular season tournament which was supposed to be on the Arkansas River. Due to the heavy rains and river conditions, the tournament had to be moved to nearby Fort Gibson Lake. My prayers go out to all those dealing with the floods. We only had one day of practice on the lake. My day was tough. I will just go out on Thursday, treat it like a practice day, and see what I can find. Watch the live weigh-in on ESPN360.com.
I can’t believe how the season has flown by. It has meant so much to me knowing that I have family and fans out there supporting me. Thank you for all your support!

TOMRROW I JUST GOT TO GO OUT AND FIND MORE FISH. THE WEIGH-IN WILL BE ON ESPN360.COM AGAIN AT APPROXIMATELY THE SAME TIME. I’LL KEEP YOU POSTED.
Finally in California
I crossed into California earlier today, now I am making my way up to the northern part of California. I will be doing my promotional event at Bass Tackle Depot tomorrow. I will let you know how that goes. Then on Sunday I begin the preparations for my first Elite tournament.
Making my way across the United States…
I am currently in New Mexico. It has been interesting crossing the United States. Earlier today I was passing the bottom of the Rocky Mountains, it was amazing. They were covered in snow and where I was at the bottom it was 65 degrees. I should definitely be in California sometime tomorrow, which will give me some time to rest before the promotional event that I am doing on Saturday. I did an interview earlier in the week that is now featured on wired2fish.com. I am also in two articles in the BassTimes magazine. Be sure and check these out.
Today is the day…
Today is the day that I begin the journey to California. I have all of my stuff packed and everything I need, I think…. I should arrive in California Friday night or Saturday morning. Saturday I will be doing promotional work at Bass Tackle Depot. I am looking forward to getting my fishing season started. Please keep me in your prayers as I travel. I will keep you updated.
Almost Ready…
I had no idea that getting ready for California would be so involved. Of course when you’re going to be there for 3 1/2 weeks it does take a lot of preparing. I leave to go to California on March 2nd. I told my mom earlier today that I can’t believe it is really here!! I am officially beginning my professional career tomorrow when I begin the long journey to California. Mychildhood dream of being a professional fisherman is really coming true, it is unbelievable. God has truly Blessed me, and I have only Him to thank.
