Tournament on Clarks Hill in Georgia
I’VE BEEN IN GEORGIA PRACTICING SINCE MONDAY. IT HAS BEEN A ROUGH PRACTICE, BUT I THINK EVERYBODY HAS HAD A TOUGH TIME. THE TOURNAMENT STARTS TOMORROW. THE WEIGH-IN WILL BE LIVE ON ESPN360.COM, I HOPE YOU GUYS ARE ABLE TO WATCH. THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT. THERE’S NO WAY I’D BE HERE WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT AND PRAYERS.
time flies
I have been home for a few days now and starting to get rested up. Pickwick was a good tournament for me but I stumbled a little at Guntersville and I dropped in the points standings. With only 3 tournaments left in the season its time to get back on track. My first season as a pro has flown by so fast. I will only be a rookie for 3 more tournaments and that is just really hard for me to comprehend. Practice for Clarks Hill starts Monday, and I will be leaving this weekend to head that way. Updates will be posted soon.
Guntersville Tournament
I’m sorry guys that I haven’t posted anything recently, it has been a little crazy lately. I appreciate your support even when I’m not doing a good job keeping this updated. Anyway, the Lord continues to Bless me on my journey here in the Elite Series. Last week on Pickwick, I finished up in 34th place. I was happy with that even though I would have loved to make it to the final day. This week I am fishing a tournament on Guntersville. There are usually some pretty big fish caught on this lake so I’m hoping I can find me some. The weigh-in for day one on Guntersville will be on ESPN360 as usual and will begin at 4:30 pm EST on Thursday. So be sure and watch to see if I can find some good fish. After the tournament on Thursday, I will update you on where I placed in case you can’t watch. Thanks guys!!!
Pickwick lake tournament-day 1

I KNOW TOMORROW I’VE GOT TO GO OUT AND GET A BIG BAG TO MAKE UP SOME GROUND. THE WEIGH-IN FOR TOMORROW WILL BE ON ESPN360.COM AT 4:30 EST. HOPE YOU CAN WATCH! Pickwick-Practice Day 1
I arrived here in Alabama yesterday evening. I am spending today on the lake practicing for the tournament that starts on Thursday… I will have updates later…
Practicing…
I’M SPENDING A FEW DAYS PRACTICING AT KENTUCKY LAKE. I HAVE TO BE IN ALABAMA ON SUNDAY TO REGISTER FOR MY NEXT TOURNAMENT THAT WILL BE ON PICKWICK LAKE. I WILL KEEP YOU GUYS POSTED.
On to the next tournament…
I’m sorry that I haven’t posted sooner. It’s been a busy few days. As most of you know, I did not make the cut for Saturday at Smith Mountain Lake. I had a frustrating tournament but that happens sometimes. I really wish that it could have gone better. My inexperience as a sight fisherman really hurt me this week. But I’m spending a few days at home and then moving on to the next tournament.
On a postive note, my fourth video blog came out. You guys should check it out. Click here: Bradley Roy\’s Reel Life
Thanks guys for all your continued support. I really appreciate it!
Day 1-Smith Mountain Lake
Hopefully you guys got to watch the weigh-in today. I had 5 fish weighing 10 lbs. 10 oz. I’m glad that I was at least able to catch some fish. I’ve just got to go out tomorrow and find more. The weigh-in will be at 3:30 pm est on ESPN360.com again tomorrow. Hope you can watch. Also, my 3rd video blog is up. Practicing at Smith Mountain Lake
I’ve now spent two days practicing here at Smith Mountain Lake in Virginia. The water is starting to warm up which I am very happy about, it should help increase the bites I’m getting. This lake looks a lot like the lakes that I am used to fishing in Kentucky. It’s great to see some similar water to what I’m used to. One more day of practice and then the tournament starts on Thursday. Hopefully I can repeat what happened at Clear Lake.
