A dream come true
Going into the last day of competition I was in 17th place at Santee Cooper. Witha few quick calculations the night before I knew I needed to stay where I was in the tournament to move into the top 7 in points and achieve my dream of recieving an invitation into the Bassmaster Elite Series. As they started to call boat numbers out on Day 3 many different emotions were flowing through me. I was one day of fishing away from achieving a dream of mine and the fear of the unknown was almost overwhelming. I made a choice to go to a different area in the morning and immediately it paid off. Within three hours I had a limit and had culled once. After moving to a different area and culling my last small fish with a three pounder a feeling of relief came over me. Running back to the takeoff site to make check-in time I couldn’t even explain the feelings that started to come over me. I weighed in my limit and finished the tournament in 10thplace. With a top ten finish I jumped all the way up to 5th place in the points which sealed my ticket to the Bassmaster Elite Series. I am so thankful that God has allowed me to achieve my dreams in this great sport. I also would like to thank all my family and friends for their continued support.

Bradley,
I was at the weight in and just recently started bass fishing on my home lake (Lake Marion). How do you guys find the fish so easy and where was the spot that worked out for you? Thanks and congrats on making to the elites.
Congrats on your accomplishments. Keep your head in the game and you’ll do fine. Your a great fisherman and a better gentleman. Remember to live your life and don’t let fishing rule it, you will only be young once. I can’t imagine the excitement, just go fishing and most of all enjoy the moment. If you or your dad need anything, just let me know, I know he’s very proud of you as we all are. By the way, I’m Lance’s uncle and you really are taking the path he would like to take. Be careful in your travels and once again–HAVE FUN!!!!!
Bradley,
Congrads. I watched you fish in the pond behind your house as you grew. Take the gift God has given you and sharpen the talent, many blessings to you in your life and career. You have made the hometown people proud. Tell your dad I said hello.
Bradley,
