I’m glad to see that you guys liked my boat wrap.  The preparation for California continues… I went to Angler’s Outpost and Marine today and got my second Powerpole installed.  I am very excited about this.  With two Powerpoles I will able to keep my boat still when I’m in shallow water and on fish.  It should improve my ability to be able to effectively cover a spot when I find fish.  I also filmed my first video for my video blog today.  When I get the video blog up and running I will be sure to let you guys know.

With the 2010 Bassmaster Classic in the books, I am now getting ready to head to California for my first tournament for the Elite Series.  Congrats to VanDam for winning, he is one of the greatest fishermen of all time.  I enjoyed being at the Classic this year.  Yesterday I got my boat wrapped with my sponsors, I am very pleased with the way it looks. Now I just have to get my gear together and get packed and head west.

Day 1 for the Bassmaster Classic on Lay Lake is officially over. I worked in the Outdoors Expo for a few hours. I appeared in the Academy Sports booth with the stars of a very famous radio show call the Rick and Bubba radio show. Very nice guys and a joy to be around. They are also very Christian minded such as myself. I am looking forward to Day 2. Working these shows makes me extremely ready to fish. I am tired of talking about it, I’m ready to fish and get my rookie season on the Elites started. Hope you all are coming to Classic. See you there!

I am leaving for the Bassmasters Classic today. I will be working all three days in the outdoor expo, I will appear in the Pure Fishing booth and Academy Sports booth. Be sure to stop in and check those booths out if you are attending the Classic. Also in the second February issue of Bassmaster magazine there is an article about me on page 8. It is such a great feeling to see myself in the magazine that I grew up wanting to be in. God has certainly blessed me and I want to thank him for it. By the way the first Elite series tournament is less than a month away.

Its that time of year again! The Bassmaster Classic starts on friday. Even though I missed qualifying for it by just a few spots, I am still extremely excited about it. I will be down working in the Berkley booth all three days of the outdoor expo and I will be attending each weigh in. Come on down to Birmingham, Alabama and visit the expo and watch some of the best bass fisherman ever compete for the sports biggest title. Hope to see you there!
