I’ve been very busy and haven’t kept up with this very well. I wanted to let you know that my latest episode of “Bradley Roy’s Reel Life” is out there. The title is “Rookie No More”. There is video of me lifting the R.O.Y. trophy. Wow! Click here A Rookie No More then click on Top Videos tab, then “A Rookie No More”.
Busy off-season
I have been busy since the last tournament and have not had time to keep up with my posts. I have been spending some time at Angler’s Outpost and Marine. Come by and see all the bait and tackle and boats. I am going out to ICAST this week to check out some new products. I will be appearing at the Academy Sports grand opening in Chattanooga on July 17 and 18. If you’re in the area, come by and see me. Then I’m headed to the Boy Scout Jamboree at the end of the month in Virginia. I am getting ready to start classes again in August. And in my spare time, I am having a little fun fishing on Herrington.
Hot in Oklahoma!!
It was a scorcher today! I finished in 34th place in the tournament. I lost 3 good fish that would have put me fishing tomorrow, and probably the Classic. I did secure the Rookie of the Year title. Now time to rest and relax a little.
Day 2 Update-Ft. Gibson Lake, OK
Had a little better day today on Ft. Gibson Lake. I made the top 47 and will be fishing tomorrow. I finished in 29th place today. By making the 47 cut, by my calculations, I have secured my Rookie of the Year status. I’m going to go out on Day 3 and try to make the Classic. The weigh-in will be at 3:30 CST on ESPN360. Thanks for all your support!
Change is good…right?
Here we are at the last regular season tournament which was supposed to be on the Arkansas River. Due to the heavy rains and river conditions, the tournament had to be moved to nearby Fort Gibson Lake. My prayers go out to all those dealing with the floods. We only had one day of practice on the lake. My day was tough. I will just go out on Thursday, treat it like a practice day, and see what I can find. Watch the live weigh-in on ESPN360.com.
I can’t believe how the season has flown by. It has meant so much to me knowing that I have family and fans out there supporting me. Thank you for all your support!
Day Two
I had almost 17 lbs today, which kept me in the top 47. So that means I’ll be fishing tomorrow as well. I’m excited to have another opportunity to try to catch some good fish. Be sure and watch the weigh-in tomorrow at 4:30 est. Just go to www.bassmaster.com and follow the link to the live weigh-in. Thanks for all your continued support.
Day One on Kentucky Lake
After day one on Kentucky Lake I had 5 fish that weighed 13 lbs 8 oz. I am currently in 53rd place. Tomorrow I’ve got to go out and make sure I make the cut for Friday, got to be in 47th place to make the cut. Wish me luck!
Heading to ky lake
I am almost prepared for Kentucky Lake. I leave tomorrow to head toward Paris, Tn. It excites me to be fishing so close to home, with several family members and friends attending the tournament. I also hope to see some fans out in support. Hopefully everything will work out to plan and we can be fishing on Saturday when the tv cameras are out. Be sure and attend the weigh ins daily. Hope to see you there!

Clarks Hill disappointment…
Sometimes having one good day and then having a bad one, is worse than not having a good one to begin with. That was my story on Clarks Hill lake. Went out on day one and was well inside the cut, and well, day two was a different story. Even though we claim to be the best in the world we still have tough days. All that aside it dropped me a bit in the standings and for the first time in five tournaments I gave up my rookie of the year lead up, which was mostly due to my fellow rookie Cliff Crochet having a great tournament, but i did help him along by having a bad tournament. So with two tournaments left I have my work cut out for me. I am going to take it one tournament at a time and that means my focus is all on Ky Lake right now. I know what it takes to top ten there, so all that is left is for me to go out finish in the top ten. Sounds easy right? I guess we will find out!
